Ready or not. Start.

“Nothing is more powerful than NOT starting … because it ends everything before anything is begun. The next most powerful force is starting. With any goal, the most important thing to do is start. Somehow. Any way you can. Ready or not. Start.” – Dan Kennedy Truthfully, the most powerful advice I can give you is to DO something to change your future. As a member of my system, you have multiple tools at your disposal. You’ve already invested something in your association with me – time and/or money. Am I missing something? I admit it’s hard for me to “get” people who have raised their hand looking for help, but then refuse to take hold of the lifeline when it’s tossed to them. Let me expand a bit on that idea of “lifeline”. It relates to the difference between death and life; between slavery and freedom. Michael Gerber, author of the best-selling business book The E-Myth called me “a perfect exemplar” of what he teaches, “a visionary who reinvented the job called real estate and who teaches agents about freedom rather than about work”. Throughout my system, and at my SuperConferences, I teach you about Freedom. My SuperConference is THE premier convention of your industry … THE real estate coaching that the most successful agents in the country attend religiously and without fail. Not attending THE convention of your industry should be considered breach of duty. And, bluntly, dumb. What you miss? The shared commonality between agents after the same thing you are. The commitment to yourself to “forward movement” by increasing your personal value. The reasons NOT to attend fall into three groups –money, time or timing, and ego. Some of you will be looking at money as a barrier for legitimate “how-can-I-afford-this” reasons while others will be quibbling over price and value – using that as an excuse for non-action. If you’re in the first group, I empathize with your situation. We’ve all been broke at some point in our lives and it’s an anxiety not easily forgotten. You should know, however, that among the agents who have grown wealthiest from implementing what they learned at my SuperConference are a young man who sold his motorcycle to get here and another who had just had both his hydro and water turned off for non-payment. Both of these agents, and countless others who couldn’t afford to attend but did anyway, are now millionaires who attribute their success to what they learned at this SuperConference. As for those of you who are quibbling about the price, be warned that obsession over how much things cost vs. focus on ROI (return on investment) is classical “Poor Thinking”. Of course all of us would prefer to get stuff for free, but reality is that moving up in life requires investing in yourself. That’s what winners do. Throwing time and timing up as your excuse for not attending is a fatal mistake, and Real Estate agents are notoriously bad here. There is serious danger and irreparable damage in allowing yourself to be so consumed in your day to day that you fail to take advantage of the exact opportunity that could bring about the most important and dramatic change in your business. As the saying goes, you have to ask yourself if you’re really “too busy earning a living to make any real money?” What could possibly be more important than securing a proven blueprint for your ongoing success … so you’ll never have to throw up excuses again why you can’t do things in life that are important to you. A couple of SuperConferences ago, we actually had one agent who convinced his brother to postpone his wedding (in which he was to serve as best man) just so he could come to the SuperConference. He was so convinced that this three days was vital to his future that he offered to pay for his brother’s honeymoon to make up for the inconvenience knowing that the systems he would take away would eliminate any future problems with cashflow. And he did exactly that. To be blunt, procrastination is the official language of the poor. Finally  … the danger of EGO – either telling yourself that you’re too smart or maybe the flipside … that you’re not quite ready to attend because you haven’t quite got your business to the point where you think you’ll benefit enough. To the second group, the thing you’ll find is that the timing is never right. There will always be things wrong with “now” that you tell yourself will get better, but if you don’t actually do something about it, they never will. Even if you worry you’re moving from the shallow end to the deep end and aren’t sure you know how to swim well enough yet, you still must start. Nobody learns to swim by sitting safely in a lounge chair, poolside, under an umbrella. And if you’re of the opinion that you’re above anything I could teach you because you’re a top producer doing better than anyone in your marketplace, you arrogantly turn your back on the fact that the most successful agents never let their ego stop them from exposing themselves to useful information or building a valuable network of other successful agents. Even if you only got one idea out of the 36 hours of intense and rigorously prepared training, what might it cost you to miss that one idea? P.S. You can test drive my ideas and systems absolutely free by signing up for Free Weekly Training which includes live weekly webinars, a monthly newsletter and priority invitations to free half day training events. This Free Weekly training will expose you to inexpensive and highly effective methods of lead generation (with no cold calling) -- what I call “Reverse Prospecting”, where qualified prospects actually hunt you down rather than the other way around, and then how to follow these leads through to maximum GCI via proprietary lead conversion and prospect presentation systems. This is the easiest way for you to find out with no risk or obligation what my system is all about and how it can help you profitably grow your real estate business and vastly improve your quality of life.
